Quality control inspector • Tipton County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Tipton County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items Requirements: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
