Now hiring: fettler (Tennessee)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Perry County, Tennessee. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
