Now hiring: we are hiring a building site helper in Cedar County, Missouri. You will work on a metro and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns Requirements: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
