Halal butcher — Pulaski County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a halal butcher in Pulaski County, Indiana. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Your main tasks: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
