Sand plant operator — Marion County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Marion County, Mississippi. On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Meals and transport allowance provided.
