Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Barnsley, England. You will be based on a window-and-door production line. Day to day you will insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer £3,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
