What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Part-time with flexible hours.
