Join our team: we are hiring a canteen cook in Porter County, Indiana. You will be based at a fast-food outlet. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
