Rebar foreman • Jackson County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Jackson County, Illinois. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day-to-day duties: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
