Gas appliance installer wanted in St. Helens

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in St. Helens, England. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 1+ years on the tools preferred.
