Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure On a typical shift you will check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; prepare the mise en place before each service; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
