Safety marshal • Forrest County, Mississippi

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Forrest County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Full-time, day shift. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
