Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Walworth County, Wisconsin. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 6+ years on the tools preferred.
