Fabricator-welder wanted in Chicot County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Chicot County, Arkansas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage The role involves: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Full-time, day shift.
