Great opportunity: steel fixer (Delta State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Okpe, Delta State. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates You will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Contact us to fix an interview.
