Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On the job you will handle: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
