Stainless steel welder wanted in Cecil County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Cecil County, Maryland. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
