Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Ulster County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg The role involves write and edit G-code programs at the control; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
