Lift mechanic — Cecil County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Cecil County, Maryland. You will work on a lift modernisation project. On the job you will handle: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
