Great opportunity: we are hiring a civil works labourer in McPherson County, Kansas. You will be based with a civil contractor. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Day to day you will hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
