Steel fixer — Washtenaw County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Washtenaw County, Michigan. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
