Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Ransom County, North Dakota. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Current medical and eyesight certificate You will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground.
