Garment machinist wanted in Kane County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Kane County, Utah. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
