Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Wayne County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter Ideal candidate: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Part-time with flexible hours.
