Vacancy available: sand plant operator (Idaho)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Boundary County, Idaho. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
