Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Kanam, Plateau State. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
