Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Winnebago County, Iowa. You will work on the press shop floor. The role involves: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Rotating shifts.
