Hand presser wanted in Rensselaer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hand presser in Rensselaer County, New York. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
