Now hiring: rough terrain crane operator (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Kings County, California. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. On a typical shift you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work 1+ years on the tools preferred.
