Immediate opening: tig welder (Ohio)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Ottawa County, Ohio. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On the job you will handle: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
