Join our team: concrete pump mate (Alabama)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Russell County, Alabama. The job is in a residential housing project. On the job you will handle: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
