Reinforcement fitter • Jewell County, Kansas

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Jewell County, Kansas. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations The role involves bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
