Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Swain County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy bakery. What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate The role involves load and unload the deck oven with a peel; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Contact us to fix an interview.
