Offshore rigger wanted in Blair County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Blair County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a power plant. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals On a typical shift you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings.
