Gas pipe fitter • Rockingham County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Rockingham County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Day to day you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
