Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Choctaw County, Alabama. Day to day you will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
