Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. The role involves: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits.
