Precision welder wanted in Richland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Richland County, Montana. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Full-time, day shift.
