Join our team: we are hiring a framing carpenter in James City County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Part-time with flexible hours.
