Gas service engineer • Clare County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Clare County, Michigan. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Your main tasks: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Part-time with flexible hours.
