Shuttering carpenter • Alexander County, North Carolina

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Alexander County, North Carolina. You will be based on a residential tower site. Your main tasks: • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Full-time with occasional weekends.
