Lifting rigger wanted in Bennington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Bennington County, Vermont. Day-to-day duties: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
