Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Butte County, South Dakota. Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Performance bonus on top of base pay.
