Vacancy available: foundry operative (Tennessee)

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Van Buren County, Tennessee. Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
