We are recruiting: furnace operator (Colorado)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Baca County, Colorado. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
