Now hiring: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Jefferson County, Colorado. The role involves: • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane 3+ years on the tools preferred. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
