Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Warrington, England. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota On a typical shift you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear.
