Day-to-day duties: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
