Great opportunity: moulder (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Marshall County, Illinois. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
