Metal caster — Pembina County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Pembina County, North Dakota. The role involves: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
